Today is the first day of Artuta’s Student Exhibition! It is being held at Tappeto Volante in Brooklyn from October 30th to November 2nd. You can see our students’ artwork from a collection of Artuta’s courses, like our Observational Drawing classes, Drawing Salon, and Teen Art Camp!
While organizing and installing the show, Artuta instructor, Kosuke and I got to get up close and personal with the artwork. We got to see the development that goes into drawings - from composition sketches of ideas to fully formed and finished drawings and artworks. Each piece has something beautiful and unique about it - just like the artists. There is a lot of play and experimentation happening within the works you will see in the exhibit. You can see students working things out, learning and growing. And you can even see the beginnings of personal artistic styles.
We hope our students are proud of their artist achievements and growth with us, we sure are and hope this exhibit highlights that! Come celebrate our students! The exhibit is open from 2pm - 7pm now until Thursday!

Hello! My name is Jessica. I am a collage and soft sculpture artist based in New York City. I am originally from East Los Angeles, California. I love making things and believe that art is an extension of yourself. I am always excited to see what Artuta students create!
